PLENDI

Les Rencards Du Beau

Les Rencards du Beau is a series of conversations dedicated to better building, conceived in collaboration with Hélène Aguilar, host of the podcast *Où est le Beau?* Designed for our ecosystem, these sessions explore, from various perspectives, issues related to resources, living organisms, low-tech solutions, and more broadly, all approaches that reconcile construction with respect for the planet and the preservation of biodiversity. Each episode is enriched by the insights of Pierre Gilbert, founder of Sator, futurist, and specialist in geomimicry, who offers a complementary and forward-looking perspective on the topics discussed. Les Rencards du Beau are organized as residencies, each consisting of four episodes. Since their inception, they have been hosted by RDAI, Franklin Azzi, Studio Chloé Nègre, and the Tristan Auer agency.

PLENDI Academy

The Plendi Academy: Teaming Up with Expertise.

To better understand the expertise of our partner artisans, we created our in-house Academy.

Designed as a series of immersive sessions and workshops, the Academy takes place in the heart of the workshops of those with whom we have been collaborating for many years on our projects.

Its goal is twofold: to train all of our teams on the challenges and specificities of our partners’ trades, while fostering smoother communication and a practical understanding of the realities on the ground—particularly the challenges encountered on our job sites.

To date, several sessions have already been organized with the teams at GOHARD, SOFRASTYL, HENRI, MANUFACTURE DE TOURLY, and ULSTER.

EHL

A partnership with the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, the embodiment of our customer promise. Since its founding, PLENDI has benefited from the support of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, the global leader in hospitality education. Every member of our teams—engineers, architects, communications specialists, sales representatives, assistants, and managers—undergoes a customized training program at this prestigious institution. This training covers topics essential to our customer promise: satisfaction, service excellence, understanding the challenges of the hospitality industry, the codes of luxury, and the specific needs of an international clientele. This training is complemented by a session dedicated to top management, “mystery guest” audits, and numerous exchanges over the years, ensuring that the PLENDI DNA remains alive and is embodied by every team member.

Biennale Bâtir Vivant

The Bâtir Vivant Biennial: Our Commitment to Building in a More Desirable Way.
PLENDI has been a partner of the Association for Sustainable Design since the creation of the Bâtir Vivant Biennial. “Frugal,” “Amour Vivant,” and “Bâtir Vivant” were exhibitions conceived in the heart of Paris and designed to showcase emerging designers and artists and their innovative, environmentally friendly materials. The biennial is dedicated to material innovations free of plastic and heavy synthetic chemicals. The goal is to raise awareness among manufacturers, engineers, and decision-makers about the challenges of construction and its impact on global resources, biodiversity, and plastic pollution in our homes.
